St Matthew's Church, adjacent to Ealing Common, was consecrated in 1884. The Reverend HC Douglass had been appointed to be the minister at a little iron mission church on the triangular green in Grange Park in 1876. It was largely due to his dedicated ministry that we now have this fine building on Ealing Common. It boasts of splendid stained glass windows, brickwork and woodwork and a fine organ.
